Another 40% Pin Code Question

Hi all,

I just received one of the 40% pin codes in my e-mail. Woohoo, right? Well... maybe not. The e-mail says "40% off at select Disney VALUE resorts." Then at the bottom is says "Ask about packages and other room types including Moderate, Deluxe and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, at varying rates when you call to book."

Sooo, my question is this: is this particular pin code good only for value resorts of is it good for deluxes too? I have never stayed at a value and have less than 0 interest in staying at one now (no offense to anyone who likes them, it's just not my thing). But 40% off a deluxe might get me to book.

It's for all levels, but of course, availability is limited and not all levels of accommodations are available. When we booked our room at POR, only standard rooms were available for our dates (12/4-6). If you are flexible, you will be successful.

Sorry, I cant help you. I just had a question for you. What do the pin code emails look like. I have been waiting forever to get one and just want to make sure I am not accidentally deleting them. We go every year and have never received a code

I don't think you could miss it, though I suppose it could get caught in your spam filter. It comes from sender "Disney Destinations" with the subject line "40% off a Disney Stay!"

n2mm, thanks for the info. That gives me hope! I will have to talk to DH tonight. We hadn't been planning for Disney this year but now I REALLY want to go!

I received the same 40% email and pin code offer in my email account this morning. You can't miss it unless it goes through your spam filter. The subject of the email is "40% off your Disney Stay!" .

I was so excited because one of the travel times offered was March 1-12 which would actually work for us. When I called Disney this morning to get a quote they said that you could book at a moderate or deluxe but they may only have certain types of rooms available. I asked about rooms at the CBR and was told that I could book a standard room only at that resort with the 40% code.

Just to let you know, I also asked about the 4/3 deal and was able to book a pirate theme room at the CBR for March 1-7 and the cost was essentially the same as a standard room with the 40% code.

We have really been wanting to go back to Disney with our kids and it seems like with the 4/3 offer and receiving the 40% code in my email, someone in the universe is really telling us we should GO!!

Mine was sent to gmail and it ended up in the spam folder. Thankfully I check the spam daily in case anything of interest ends up there. It might be worth checking. Good luck!

I received a email with the 40% too. My 1st one. My question and hopefully not a dummed one is what does it really mean? Is it 40% off rooms only-40% off packages etc. Can someone explain this a bit further to me.

You can use it to book either a room only reservation or a package, but the 40% discount only applies to the room portion, so if you book a package the tickets & dining would be at full price.

I got the email this morning, and used it to book room only at the Ft. Wilderness cabins for 11/29 - 12/5, at a rate of only $159/night plus tax. We are actually arriving on the 11/26, but the 40% is not available for 11/26, 27, & 28 because of T-giving (plus those dates are peak vs. value season). For those 3 nights I got a AAA rate of $280.50/nt plus tax.
