Hi sorry for another AP question, but, it IS an awfully long thread...
if someone sponsors me, and i go in april, how do i get the tickets? since i would want the APs to start in april, and wouldn't get the tickets til i arrive i presume, how does one book a room before hand??
Thanks! If your answer is expedia, i keep trying but i can't find the pages that let you do room only, and also I'd want to use Dream AP booking discount??

You cannot get the sponsors discount by buying AP over the phone. You go to guest relations at the park and purchase your temporary AP. You hand over the sponsor form and the CM will remove the 10% off coupon.

You cannot use the AP discount on Expedia, only by phoning Disney will you be able to get a discount. Unfortunately you cannot get the AP discount without having your AP so normally you can only get the hotel discount on your next visit

We have decided to get APs (hooray!)
We're going to get me a Dream and Hubby a Fantasy, and get son te free under 7 one.
Now, i vaguely remember something about if you book a package and take the tickets to the AP office they refund the difference or you pay the difference on the Ap cost is that right?

And does anyone know if the free under 7 AP offer will still be valid in April?

we have decided to do just one night stays a couple times a year now instead of 2 nights stays (hubby said is was either one 2 nighter or lots of one nighters so.... )

Please help me guys!

As package park tickets have a nominal face value of €0.00/£0.00 printed on them, unfortunately there is no refund value against the cost of APs

On Expedia put in hotel only then destination Disneyland Paris and it comes up with all nearby hotels on and off site. It will say if pass included or not so for example you might get 2 prices for Cheyenne- with tickets and without tickets

You will probably be best either booking off site at somewhere like Explorers or booking on Expedia for room only at Disney hotel then just buying Ap when you get there. You cant get any money back if you book a package but get money back for day passes (but not if getting child free) so when you arrive instead of going to ticket office go to Guest relations and buy AP with sponsorship and other AP with child free. You will then be given temp APs which you need to take to AP office in park- near entrance to Discoveryland.

Will lots of 1 night stays not work out more expensive as you are paying for transport every time?

possibly, but at least we'll get to use the AP discount, and book Eurostar well in advance to get cheap seats, so yes will spend more in long run, butwith any extra trip i'd be paying more, and at least hubby agrees to go more than once a year so that's good enough for me lol!

edit: and thank you for that by the way, it makes a lot more sense now that i have a step by step idea on what to do, so guest relations is before the park entrance and then once inside the park with temp AP you get your photo taken at AP office for full AP is that right?

edit again: i just found the french pages about buying APs and roughly understood it all with the help of what you've told me here, so it's all becoming clearer! Maybe i should compile my research lol!

You won't be able to use sponsorship on the under 7's free AP, also I don't think you can have sponsorship on the one of the adult AP that results in the free AP for your child.

If I remember rightly you will only need one sponsor for the one AP.

we wont be there in time to get the free under seven pass as the offer ends 4/4/8 and we go on 16-18, which are black out days on fantasy so we'll be getting 3 dream APs when we go, so do we have to get sponsored by the same person, or can we spread the benefit among more than one DISer?

thanks again to everyone who helped me out, we're getting sponsored now, so i'm looking forward to getting APs!
i'm just going to ask another question, so now that i will be getting APs, how soon after getting it can i start to sponsor oters, do i have to wait for the year to be up or can i sponsor as soon as i get it??

You can begin sponsoring others one month after you buy your annual passes.
