Has anyone heard the dates for this year's Annual Passholder Sale at World of Disney? I'm thinking about coming out, but don't want to buy a plane ticket until I know the right dates.

Thanks!

I'm a newer AP. What is the sale? Is it weighted based on AP level? Just curious.

The one time I went, it was a big sale for about 3 hours before the store opened to the general public. Not everything was on sale, but there were some great deals going. I even got some pins for just $4 each.

Still looking for info on a sale!!! I would love to do my xmas shopping at Disneyland!!

2 years ago, we decided to try it. Got in line around 445am, out in the DTD parking lot. The line snaked all over the place. We finally got to the store at 805am. The place was so crowded, you couldn't move. My daughter lasted less than 5 mins, I exited after 15. There was no way anything could be worth the wait in the line to check out. They estimated the check out lines to be 90 mins.

Sounds like Black Friday with Disney x 1000.:crowded:

Seriously. It was fun, the camaraderie, but inside the store, no way I would EVER do that again. To me, it was dangerous. Maybe if we had lined up early enough to be in the first 100, then I might try. But is my time really worth it? I would need to save a LOT to stay up all night.

I was there around 5am and in line for a few hours. At the end people abandoned the items they grabbed and figured they didn't want anymore or couldn't afford. People were trading items.. It was kind of fun! I ended up with the Dooney and Burke wristlet I wanted! I hope they do it again!

Were you guys at the Disneyland sale or the WDW sale? When I went to the Disneyland sale, we got there later, but were still in the first 1000 shoppers (we got the Big Cheese ears) and there were almost no lines at the registers. The store wasn't even crowded. I don't know if I'd want to be at the store if it's as bad as it was for you guys!
