Annual Passholder Question

We are a family of 4, two adults, two kids ages 11 & 9. We are headed south and going for an extremely last minute trip to MK or AK for one day only this Saturday. Purchasing an AP has been on my radar for some time, we went twice to WDW last year and we're planning a trip this November. While I don't want to get an AP for the whole family (just yet), I was contemplating just getting it for just me or my husband and trying to take advantage of the room discount and ticket discount for the rest of the family. Does anyone have a general idea of the ticket discount if you are an AP and you show up at the gate to buy tix for the rest of the family? Looking for the price for 1 adult and 2 kids?? Just trying to see if it would be worth it. TIA

There is no ticket discount for AP holders’ families. Unless something has changed last time I looked.

OK, maybe I misread. I had thought I read that an AP can buy up to 6 tickets at the window using their AP discount. Think I read it on WDW Prep School but I can't recall, it's been a while back.

OK- just did a little google investigation-article below is from fall 2017- but sounds like it may have been a limited time promo, not sure. I guess it's not really a benefit since even though we are only two days out, I figured we could book our FP+, we wouldn't be able to do that if we bought the other 3 tix at the gate.

They definitely had an AP discount for tickets bought at the ticket window for 1 day tickets at the end of August. I believe it was $99 for a one day ticket bought by an AP holder. I don't remember the limit on it. I don't see this discount listed in the current AP discount however.

That article lists an end date of September 2017.

I wound just buy the one day tickets online now through MDE and do what FP+s that you can!

Yup- that's what we're doing. Thank you!! Looking forward to our last min trip. Haven't done a 1 day WDW visit since high school!
