annual passholder mardigra bead... strange policy

ok, o for passholders who spend $30. in park merch ( restrictions also) you get a free 2013 mardi gra beads.

so this morning turned in some receipts at USF ( after picking up an item I missed) they took them at the counter, marked them, gave me my beads, easy peasy.

THEN

after getting some more stuff at IOA, went to front counter, handed her several receipts. she looked at them, looked at me. said NOPE you have to have all in ONE purchase. I said NOPE its a total of $30. in purchases. she said NO , you have to have ONE receipt.
I "sighed". said no, go check with a manager.... she went off, came back.. NO, it has to be ONE receipt. "sighed again" told her I just did it at USF no problemo... and showed her the paper I did a copy & paste from their website with the info.... she still said NO, store policy.
"sighed" again. I was NOT budging. pointed out on paper where it said receipt(S).
she went to ask manager......... she took my receipts , & re rang ALL the receipts on ONE receipt
seriously??

Hmmm...strange indeed. The only thing I can think of is since Mardi Gras is in the Studios and not IoA, maybe those TMs don't know as much about the promotion as the TMs at the Studios.

One of the workers in IOA did something similar to us too. I had over $60 on one receipt and asked for 2 beads. She told be only one per passholder. I said but my wife and son are here right over there and pointed. She looked again and said that wont work. I said they all have their own AP. s
She then went over and whispered to another employee and came back and handed me 2 beads. Here is the kicker, she never asked to see any of our annual passes.

It's kind of strange how workers are not informed about their own promotions.

Really not strange, just POOR management......is probablly my biggest pet peeve!
