Annual Passholder and rate question

Hi there,

I have a question for all of you AP holders. If I get an AP, do discounts come out for AP holders for stays at deluxe resorts through the end of June? It looks that on Mousesavers that they do come out for stays at values and moderates, but I did not see any for June.

Also, I would like to know if I order an AP online, will I be able to use it for the discounts once I have ordered it, or if there is a voucher that comes in the mail that I can use for AP discounts? In other words, once I order an AP, do I have to go to the parks to activate it before I can use it for discounts?

I ordered my annual pass over the phone. The CM I was working with allowed me to go ahead and book my room with the AP discount. A card was sent in the mail and I took the card and the letter that it came with to guest services outside MK to gat the actual AP. I believe there is a place in DTD to exchange for the pass as well. Some people do not like having to mess with the exchange and will not order the AP until they arrive in WDW, but I did just to make sure I got the room discount. I am not sure about a discount in June. Discounts in the summer are hard to come by or the come out last minute.
