Annual Passes

I need some guidance and hope someone can help me.

We have recently moved to Florida and are going to the world July 4th week .

We have just decided to buy the annual pass, because it is only about $350 more for us in total, as compared to 3 passes for the 5 days we need for our July trip. So since we now live here and plan to go on a lot of day trips as well as overnight it just makes sense.

My question is, I do not want to charge the AP's, but want to pay cash for them upon our arrival on July 4th. Does anyone know how I do this? Do I go to any ticket counter at any park? Can I do this at my resort (POFQ)?

Thanks for the help, the cm on the phone line didnt seem too sure of how I would do this.

It is very simple process, go to any ticket window and be sure to ask for the Florida resident annual pass. You will have to give ID showing that you are a Florida resident before it will be issued to you. Be advised that you have 2 choices to make, the regular annual pass or the Florida resident seasonal annual pass which is priced at a big savings over the regular pass. It has 3 black out periods during spring, summer and christimas times and it works out that this is when the parks are the most crowded, so it is a win win deal. The seasonal pass is what we went with a it works out just fine and the black outs don't matter since we also have Sea World and Busch Gardens annual passes. Come to think of it, the savings with the seaonal pass at Disney almost pay for the other passes.

The Seasonal Pass won't do him any good if he's going July 4th week though. We are currently in one of the blackout periods (June 11 to August 18). He'll need the regular FL resident AP.

You can get the FL resident AP at any theme park ticket booth or at any Guest Relations location at the parks or DTD. You cannot get it at the resorts. Paying cash is no problem at all at Disney.
