Annual Passes

What all is included with the annual passes.. I have read that you discounts on alot of things but not sure what all for and how much..
Is it really worth buying??
My family will be going 5 days in May 2005 and then just dh, myself and 2 kids will probably return during the year and stay even longer but wanted to know if it was worth it and what benifits do you get with it?
I had planned on buying myself and kids 7 day Park Hopper Plus tickets and letting Husband buy the AP to get the benifits but wanted to make sure it was worth the extra $$ . ( I read in a disney book that only 1 person had to have the AP to get the room discounts)

I think the breakeven point for AP as opposed to Hoppers is 8 days. Remember the clock starts on the passes the first day you use them, so all other trips down would have to be within that timeframe.

The breakeven point for each family is different as you need to factor in the total savings that you plan to obtain during the full year of the pass. On the basis of park entrance alone, the b/e point is eight days. Most people obtain substantial savings on rooms which lowers the b/e point.
