Annual Passes

We bought our DVC annual passes online. The CM is spoke with a few weeks before said that if I buy them online then hook them to MDE to our bands we would just go to the gate tap it and go in. Today we got them and now the papers says we have to go to guest services before going to the gate. Can anyone help? Can we go to the gate or do we have to go to guest services first. Thanks SO much!!!!

We did this last year and had to go to Guest Services. Our understanding was they would be on our MB and we could go right in since we had linked them. When we got to the gate, they didn't work. Apparently they had to be activated by Guest Services or something to that nature first. If we had known we had to do that from the start, it would not have been as frustrating or time wasting.

All annual passes have to be activated by guest services. You'll need your DVC member ID, and any adults will need photo ID showing the same address as the member.

You don't have to go to Guest Services to activate MYW tickets, but you do have to go to activate the annuals. The MS CM just gave you info for the wrong ticket type.

That's what I thought too. I tried to go in with my MB and it didn't work. Had to go to guest services to activate.
