Annual Passes

Is that annual passes for WDW?
I bought one last year - what I did was purchase a 10 day non expiry park hopper pass from Undercover Tourist, then after my first enrty to MK, went to guest services to exchange for AP's. Worked really well.
It was good, because I was in Orlando for 3 weeks and it gave us free parking at the parks, plus we could go every day!!! :thumbsup2
The funny part was we actually got a refund when we changed the tickets over!! We really confused the girl at guest services with that one!! ;)
If you plan multiple trips, or will be there longer than 2 weeks, the AP works a treat!
Hope this helps. :)

Bought an annual pass on our first trip (2005) for the discount it gave us on our room. I am pretty sure we picked it up at the resort.

I ordered our Annual Pass (WDW) on line and picked them up at the Ticket & Transportation Centre. I suppose this is Will Call.

Thanks. I'm wondering what to do. We have bought AP's twice in the past. First time I did it over the phone and we had the vouchers sent to my cousin in North Carolina. The second time we bought 1 day passes and them upgraded them at Guest Services.
This time I went to do it online. I selected international shipping at $25USD but when I went to checkout, it wouldn't let me proceed. Something about it being due to the billing information I entered which I'm assuming translates to they wont sent to Australia (even for $25).
I can get them sent to my cousin again, I guess. Our trip isn't for 10 months so I don't want to wait to pick it up then when I'm buying so far ahead. Plus I want the voucher to access the passholder website. I was hoping to come accross someone who had been successful having them sent here.

WE did it once for Disneyland and dh we had to go and get the cards and photo taken inside the park. It's all different now. I'll ask dh how we bought them, this was back in 2008 though.

I bought mine online last year. They don't send them, they just email a voucher thing to you. You then take the voucher to the ticket booths and they give you a ticket for entry for that day. Whilst you are in there on that day you have to go to the AP centre and get your photo taken and then they give you your AP - looks like a drivers licence.

So, because they need to put a pic on it, they can't actually send you the AP regardless of where you live.

How do you get them to email the voucher? There is no option for this online. We've had two annual passes before so I know its just a voucher. First time we had the vouchers sent to my cousin in North Carolina because we couldn't have it sent here. But that was 2007.
But I've also got both lots of our old annual passes in front of us also and there is no picture of us on there. They are just cards. Nothing like a drivers licence. These are from 2007 and 2009.
Regardless, I just want to pay and get the vouchers someway. The website has an option for international shipping but then wont accept the sale when I select it.

No photos on any of our annual passes and we go every year. The pass is a card and we buy them at the International Gateway entrance to Epcot.

We have done AP's at both DL and WDW. At DL I purchased online, you have your voucher sent by email, you print that up, go the the front gate the first time, then go into the AP dept and have your photo taken etc.

At WDW, we just did it when we got there. When we arrived we went straight to DTD for dinner and got our passes before dinner (so we could use them for the discount) We just got them at guest services at DTD. I also bought the tables in wonderland card which is for AP holders and gives you discounts at many TS restaurants and some CS. It saved us SO much over the 3 weeks we were there.
