Hi

Am I right in thinking that if I buy an annual pass then my 3 year old grandaughter would get a free one?

If this is so then what do we do to get this and where do we get it from?

Thanks

There has been an offer on for under 7s to get a free annual pass with an adult one - I think this offer has been extended and is still on but I cant say definitely. However someone else will probably be along later to let you know.

You get the APs from the guest relations at the gate or from the annual pass office. If you get it from the ap office you need a ticket to get in first which will be refunded but not for the free one so you are better just buying at the gate/guest relations.

There are 3 types of pass and there is more info on each in the FAQ sticky at the top pf the page but be warned that the francilien does not allow you to use it on day 2 and 3 so you are best to avoid this one

Just to add as well that there are blackout days for the franciien and fantasy passes so you may not be able to get these and use on certain days - there is a list of blackout days in FAQ I think.
The dream AP is the most expensive but allows access 365 days year

Thanks everyone. I have just phoned Disneyland and been told that the free annual pass for under 7's is only available to people staying in the resort hotels.

Another plan bites the dust!!

I'm not sure that is correct. I thought the free AP was for any adult buying an annual pass. I did think it had to be within the same family though i.e Mum buys one and son gets one free rather than me taking along a random child and getting a free AP for them.

When we got the free kids AP there was no question from Guest Relations about whether you were staying at a DLP property or not.

Was it the AP office you rang?

Hi

I phoned the number on the website who transferred me to the office in Paris.
They then put me through to someone who checked and that is what they told me.

This is on the website

It makes a huge difference to how I plan my tickets so I wish that I could get a definitive answer.

Thanks

We got the free child annual pass with an adult one in October. We weren't staying onsite, so I don't think the information you were given is right. We bought it at Guest Services & there was no problem getting it.

I have emailed their annual pass office and hope that they will reply tomorrow. If you got one then I can't see why I should not.

By the way, I see that you stayed at the Marriott. That is where we are staying so is it ok?

Thanks for everything

&

Happy New Year to all

I think they were giving you an answer as if you had asked about the kids stay and play free offer. There is nothing in the text above which states you have to be at a Disney property. In fact the benefits of having a pass are that you can stay offsite cheaper and just use the pass for the benefits.

I'm a good 99% certain you can get the kids free with one adult purchase without any problems. All you do need is the childs passport for evidence of their age.

I have stayed at the Marriott twice now & I love it. It is really a home away from home & the onsite facilities are great too - pool, playroom & playgrounds (I have 2 young children). The supermarket nearby stocks everything you could need (10 min walk away) and the houses are very well equipped. I'm sure you'll have a great time there. If you have any questions - just ask.

Hi

Thanks. Is the heating ok in the Marriott as it is going to be cold? Also where are the two bathrooms situated, upstairs or down? Did you use the bus service and, lastly I think, is there a rollaway bed as my daughter wants both kids in with her and hubbie.

Sorry forgot, are the washing machine and dryer full size in case it rains as the boot of the car is not big so we don't want to take too much?

Thanks

The heating system is great. There are 2 temperature controls - 1 upstairs & 1 downstairs so you can set the level. There is a toilet & sink downstairs. Upstairs there is a ensuite bathroom with a huge bath & I think it had a shower over it (didn't use it so can't remember too well) & also upstairs is a separate bathroom with no bath but a big shower cubicle with a very powerful shower - I loved that shower! We didn't have a car so yes we did use the buses and just worked around the times. You can also use the number 34 bus which leaves you at the entrance of the resort - this is also the bus service that takes you to the Val d'Europe shopping centre - and cost 1.60 euro each (but i think kids might be free because I was never charged for mine). You can also arrange a taxi through the reception to pick you up. I think this cost 15 euro. The sleeping arrangements are : a double bedroom, a twin bedroom & a sofabed downstairs in the livingroom (very comfortable). I don't think you would be able to move any of them about to get the kids in with their parents. That is the layout for the 2 bedroom house which we stayed in. The washing machine was full size. Bring some washing powder tablets with you if you plan to do a lot of washing as they only supply you with enough for 1 wash & it would save you having to buy more. I did not use the dryer (not used to using one at home) but hung the clothes on the airer and they dried very quickly.

Hope that answers all your questions. Have a great time.

Thanks once again.. Do we need to take towels, teatowels etc please?

No, loads of towels & a teatowel are provided. I would bring a cloth to wipe down the kitchen surfaces and some washing up liquid if you are going to hand wash dishes as they only provide dishwasher tablets.

Just to say that you can get a free annual pass for under 7's but you have to ask for it when you pay for the adult pass as they cannot do it afterwards.
