Annual passes vs. MYW

OK I have another question. I know that we'll receive annual passes as part of our Escape Wedding. We're getting married in September, and we've booked the MYW package, in order to take advantage of the free dining. However, when we booked online, it required us to select a minimum of a 1 day park pass. So my question is, is there any way we can get the 1 day park pass removed from our package without losing the free dining? It seems like such a waste of money for something we won't be able to use. What has everyone else done?

Unfortunately, no. The only way to get free dining is to buy a MYW package, and that has to include at least a 1-day ticket (but thank goodness they don't make you buy a ticket for every day of your stay!)

We did the very same thing you are doing - booked free dining with a 1-day MYW ticket because we had Wedding APs. However, those 1-day passes sure came in handy when we went back for our anniversary and our APs expired before the end of our trip. :)

You can always take the value of the one day tickets and put it towards renewing your annual passes next year :thumbsup2

Or, it's not required that YOU use the tickets, you can give them to a guest to use as a gift
