We now own at BWV so we think it will be easier to have annual passes. The problem is that we have 5 days left on our MYW tickets. If we trade these in for a credit on our annual passes, how does this work?
(For example, if we paid $360 for a 10 day MYW ticket, do they simply give us a $180 credit for each ticket or does it not work that way?) :confused3 :teacher:

I doubt it because as you add more days, the cost goes down. I'd bet you will get the prorated cost of the last five days.

Don't know if it's true, but I read on another thread that they are no longer trading in used passes more than 14 days from first use.

They definitely would not give you 50%. The difference from a 5 day to a 10 day base ticket is only $11 ($219 to $230). You would be better off saving them for future use.

Just a little bit of additional information. They also only let you apply ONE day of tickets to the AP purchase as well.

The MYW tix are so heavily "front loaded" that you probably would only get a few dollars credit (difference between a 10 day & a 5 day).

I would use the 5 days & then go get an AP.

Definitely use up the 5 days first - you don't want them hanging over your head through the years if you think you'll be AP holders each year.

I vote for putting them away safely.

Years down the road they will still be good and owning DVC you might find your self getting away for just a couple of days to use up some points and have no AP's .

You could use them then and feel like it was a no additional cost trip.
