Annual Passes at MCO?

Hello All!

I was wondering if AP's purchased at the Disney store at Orlando Int'l airport are vouchers or actual passes? I have about two hours to kill before my gf arrives, and wondered if I could save some time by purchasing our tix in advance. If they are just vouchers, I might just as well handle the entire transaction at Guest Services at the MK.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

They are vouchers then before you check into your hotel or go to a park you have to go to guest services and they will exchange it for a plastic card. I am going to do this and buy the voucher in MA then hopefully remeber to pack it in with my things and bring it to Disney. LOL

Actually, they are the actual passes. We purchased ours at MCO in November and they took all of our information right there. We proceeded directly to the Epcot gate from the airport, where we had to get our fingers scanned for the biometric reader, and then went right in!

Ditto to the last post--we got to MCO last Dec. 6 and bought my AP then so we could get our AP rate for our hotel. It was an actual pass.

That's terrific if they sell the annuals at the MCO Disney Store. Certainly would save me some time instead of having to go to guest services at the parks to get them.

I assume the passes are still plastic coated paper, or have they changed the stock?
