We are planning a trip to DW and staying at SSR. We are bringing our 3 Grandchildren and are wondering if we can purchase an AP for them even though they don't live with us

However, since children do not have driver's licenses to prove where they live, I don't think you have to show anything to purchase them. Adults must provide proof of address that must match the DVC owner's address. Children would not have this type of proof. You can only purchase 8 AP's with the discount however.

DH and myself plan on buying the annual pass since that is the best way to go for us. It seems that since we are bringing the grandkids we should be able to purchase the ap for them too. I should also add that their parents are not joining us on this trip.

Technically, you are not supposed to get the discount since they don't live with you (you can always purchase the AP, just not at the discount). However as someone else stated, kids don't need ID, so you could purchase them and probably not have a problem if you put your address down for them. There is a limit of 8 discounts.
