Annual Pass Room Discounts

How can I see what kind of room discounts are available for an annual pass BEFORE I actually purchase one? I want to see if I can save a few bucks by going this route but I don't want to buy a pass and then find out that its not doing me much good.

When you're on the Loews booking site, select "Promotion" and type in APH - that will show you what the Annual Pass discount is for your selected timeframe.

How would it work if I bought an AP online and booked an AP rate at the resort? It says I must show my AP at check-in, but to get the AP, I must go to the park gate and pick it up. Do I show my confirmation letter or would I have to park at the resort, then go to the park gate and pick up my AP?

when you check in to the hotel, tell them you do have the APH rate for the room but haven't activated your card yet.

the TM at the hotel will tell you to show the AP card sometime during your stay so you will be charged on the AP promo rate.

the first time i booked with the APH rate, i didn't have my ap card.
i bought it online and activated it at the park the first day.
showed my card and had it noted on my room file it was viewed in order to keep the APH rate.
