Annual pass resort discounts

Hi all,
Planning my first Universal vacation and was hoping you could all help me out with something...

Is there anywhere I can find if there are annual pass discounts for the onsite hotels for February of next year, and if there is, what they are?

We would really like to stay on site, but for the most part it is a little too expensive given all of our other costs, but, looking at what our tickets are going to cost, we realized that an annual pass would only be a bit more than what we're paying for the tickets we wanted, and if we could get an annual pass and get a great hotel rate, then we could definitely stay on site!!!

What do you all think? Is it worth it to get an annual pass to get onsite discounts? Do they offer them often?

When I called Universal Vacations they were able to give me the total estimate with the AP discount since I was also looking at doing this.

From what I've read on here, and seeing what they're doing now though, they do tend to have seasonal specials as well. Right now the stay more, play more rate is a good 30% more off than the AP rate is. It amounted to another $300 in savings vs the AP rate for us.

If there's no other promotions it would be worth it to do most likely considering the AP holder perks as well. Just call Universal and see what they say. Who knows, they may have the stay more play more rate available still in February.

Cannot see and deals being out yet for next year ,even Feb, probably another month or 2

I have found that if you are staying 5-7 days the s&s rates are lower.
If you are staying 2-4 days then the aph tends to be cheaper.
