Annual Pass Renewal

I have a question about annual passes, I just turned 21 a couple of months ago so for my next trip to disney i want to be able to have my pass with pleasure island included so my question is.....Can you upgrade a regular annual pass to a premium annual pass on a renewal or do you have to buy a whole new annual pass?

A "renewal" is, in effect a "whole new" AP anyway.

I doubt you'll have any trouble adding the PI option to it on the renewal.

You can upgrade your current AP to add the premium, this will give you the water parks and PI and the price is about $165 regardless of when your AP expires. If you need to renew then yes you can renew your AP as is or upgrade it to the PAP.

However, if you don't need the water park feature and just want PI an AP to PI only is $58.52 much cheaper than upgrading to a PAP. Also with all the changes to PI unless your local it may even be worth looking into the bounce back discounts they often offer. allears has a great ticket comparison page that may help you decide.

Thanks for the quick responses. I had no idea you could just add on PI, that would definatly be a good option for me since i really dont need the water parks!!!

Just to clarify you can't add on just PI to your AP, but you can buy a separate Annual Pass just for PI.

PI is becoming a smaller and smaller option....make sure that the value of what you pay is something that you will use with the limited PI options.
