Annual pass renewal question

I apologize if this has been asked/answered, etc.

We just renewed our platinum passes (exp. in May) and now it says Charter Certificate - expires Dec. 31, 2030. My migraine brain is not comprehending what is probably a very simple explanation. Will these just expire again in May of 2022? Do I need to do anything special?

The certificate doesn't expire, so they put that 2030 date on it. If you never activate it, you can still apply the value to another purchase.

Your annual pass expiration will update after you activate your passes. It will extend the expiration by one year.
