Annual Pass Renewal question

Where do I find the visual ID when renewing my annual pass? I have tried everything I can think of but I have no clue of what it is asking for.

are you on the AP site?

they ask for you to fill in 2 different numbers.


is this what you are asking ?


i always have problems using that site to renew.
i just call the number and renew over the phone.
you can renew once you hit 30 days out from ap expiration.

 
I recently renewed by phone. Very easy.

You actually have 2 pass ID numbers, a very long one with letters and numbers and a short one with 6 numbers (called the pin). Universal only asked for the short one when I renewed. I have an older pass with my photo on it, newer ones don't have photos. Maybe they have different ID styles.

my ap is like yours.
got it back in 2003 and it has the two different numbers and the photo.


i agree.
calling is the easiest way to renew.
 
Yes, I was on the AP site. It is confusing. I logged in using the numbers on the pass but when I went to renew, it asked for Visual ID and last name. Could never figure out what the visual id was. Tried every number on the pass. Thanks for the replies. I am going to just call today.
 
Just call, it only takes a few minutes.
 
We are going to be in Orlando just prior to expiration on my husband's pass, can we renew at the gate for the renewal rate or do we need to do beforehand? My parents bought his pass initially last Christmas and we activated it in Jan, we will be in Orlando weekend of Jan 4 this coming year, thought we would just do then, we haven't received anything about his renewal. My kids will be on their "new" passes, my sister gets them through their charity drive for my girls for Christmas last year and this year as well, and mine renews in July and is on the payment plan, so autorenewed.

If you have to go to guest services besides the AP renewal, then wait until you are there. If you just need the renewal then call now and do it over the phone.

i have never received anything from UO to renew my ap.
if some do get a notice, could be but never has happened to me before.
i've been an ap holder since 2003.

I did get something regarding it (I think I got an email and a postcard or letter?), but it wasn't until VERY close to renewal if I'm remembering correctly.

But a lot of my Universal email goes to spam for some reason, so I'm vaguely surprised I even got it.

i have no idea why i have issues in receiving info from UO/AP.

i have called and sent emails to update my information so i can receive mailings or emails for announcements, etc.

on a few rare occassions, i have received the quarterly mailings, but i don't count on it.

did receive the recent one for this month though!


peeps are supposed to be receiving the info by emails (if they request this form of notification), but i am the exception to it i guess.

i do get my Loews YouFirst info by email regularly so i'm not totally out of the loop.

i usually read on the darkside when others post on a special for ap holders, so i really don't have any complaints as the info can be obtained easily.

i just like to whine sometimes. :laughing:
