Am I right in thinking that if I renew my annual pass when I'm over in WDW that there is a discount on the new one? How much would I save?

Also, can I buy it at DD rather than at a park ticket booth?

The price to renew an adult annual pass is $350.39. A new annual pass is $392.99. If you are a Disney Club member, prices are $339.74 to renew and $377.01 new. All of the prices include tax (and are in U.S. dollars).

Yes, you can buy annual passes at Downtown Disney. Look for the Guest Services locations. There is one in the MarketPlace and one on the West Side.
