Annual Pass Rates - AS Movies? Anyone?

I know in the past, I could only get AP rates for AS Sports or Music -- movies has always been excluded. Is this still true? OR has anyone been able to get the AP rates at AS Movies?

Hi! When I was checking for my stay, Movies was available, but only for one of my days. So they do have them, probably a very limited amount of rooms, & my guess is they just go very fast.

When we decided to leave a day early for our annual Christmas trip to WDW I called CRO to see what was available with an AP rate at the AllStars. All three were offered and we took ASMovies for a ridiculously low price of $55 a night (and that includes the tax!

Last year I was able to use the AP discount at ASMovies twice.

I'll be staying at ASMovies on the AP rate from 12/3 to 12/9. I booked several months ago (right after the rates were announced).

When we went in May we got an AP rate of $69 a night for ASMo. I had to call 3 times to get a room. The first CM who took my call was not very with it. The second one was rude. The third was a charm.

This time I had no problems using the AP rate for our Dec 20-27 trip at ASMo. One call is all it took this time. My sister booked her room at the same AP rate of $49 a night at ASSports 5-6 weeks later without any problem at all for the same dates.

We stayed at ASSports on 11/16-11/17 at a rate of $55.00 with tax, well I called tonight for ressie for 12/6 and was quoted $87.00 for same room... does this sound right? Anyone know of any other cheaper rooms or any better hotels for close to same as 87? I thought I saw AML or Dolphin for a lil over 100 at one time... thanks in advance for any help!

I have a AAA rate of 68 w/tax for that date at ASMu. It sounds like you were quoted a rack rate preferred view? I tried to get the ap rate, but they were out. Do you have AAA, you might be able to try that. I think alot is booked up that weekend for conventions and disney onliners meets.
