I have several annual pass questions I was hoping for some help on.
1. What's the advantage to upgrading to an AP after 1 day?
The only adavntage is if you paid less for your pass than the current gate price. If you use the ticket at least once, you will recieve the current value towards the purchase price of the AP/
2. What are the special benefits of an AP?
There are quite a few. They are all listed on WDW site for AP info. Some are Free Parking, 10% off some restuarants for lunch, 10% and some 15% off some stores in DTD, Tables in Wonderland card can be purchased for $75 that give a 20% discount at many TS and some CS restaurants for up to 10 people. There are others-sometimes a discount at the
Disney Store. Check out the WDW site. There are room discounts at times as well for AP holders. In May of this year (first time I ever heard of this one) AP holders were sent out 4 passalong cards that if the current AP holder gave to a person wishing to purchase a new AP- the current holder received a $25 Disney giftcard for each AP purchased with one of their passalong cards - each card could get up to 6 APs and the new AP purchaser got 10% off! A good deal. We were AP holders at the time and My son got a new one - He got 10% off (value about $50 at the time) and I got the $25 giftcard.
3. Is the 15 month special still going on?
It is for renewals and I believe FL residents only. You get the 15 months instead of 12 at the annual price.
