Annual Pass question

My family and I (DH and 3 kids, DS8, DD5, and DD2) are going to WDW in November of this year. I'm thinking about purchasing annual passes for us and possibly going again in May, 2002.

Here's my question:
My DD just turned 2YO this past Saturday. She would be turning 3YO while we'd be at WDW next year. Does anyone know what Disney's policy on this is? For the first part of the trip, she'd still be under 3 and FREE. Would they require me to purchase a ticket for her after her birthday?

I think this question has been asked before, and if I remember correctly, Disney's stance has been "If the child is 2 at the beginning of the trip, they are 2 for the whole trip as far as they are concerned"
