annual pass question

My husband and I bought annual passes this year while our daughter was 2. She will be 3 at our next visit. Does Disney offer any passes for half a year for situations like this? Or do I need to buy her a regular ticket or annual pass? I just hate that if I buy her the pass it will be good longer than ours will and we won't get on the same schedule unless we let one lapse.

Thanks!

If you only have 1 trip until yours expires, I would just buy a regular ticket for her. Depends on how many park days you have planned, you have to run the numbers.

There's no half year pass, prorated pass, or any other sort of option. Tons of families have the youngest child on a different AP anniversary date than everyone else because s/he turned three halfway through their pass year.

Do the math and see if the AP is even worth it for that trip, like DebbieB says.

This happened to us when our kids turned 3. Our AP renewal schedules were off for a little bit. I actually liked it that way because it off set the cost to a different time of year.
