Has anybody tried this?
We recently received our Annual Pass Exchange Certificates and last night we went to the Disney Passholder website page and tried to log in with the information on the back of the exchange certificates using our names but we kept getting an error that the certificate id was invalid.

On this webiste you’re supposed to enter your name and then select the type of pass you have. There are 3 different pass type options – 1 for if you actually have the annual pass and 2 different ones for exchange certificates. We selected the exchange certificate option that looked like our’s (Type 1) and entered all the information from the back of our certificate in the fields and we tried both of our names with both certificates but kept getting an error that the id was invalid.

I was just wondering if we were doing something wrong or if our names weren’t associated with the certificates or what.

I'm not sure if anyone has already tried this or not - once you actually get logged in you're supposed to see all the benefits you get as a passholder.

Just wondering.......

we havent done that but we just exchanged them so I'm guessing it may be different info as they were printed for us at guest services

I didn't even know you could register on the Annual Passholders Website without having exchanged the certificates. I just went on the site and tried it and it worked for me. Maybe since you just got your certificates it is too soon...? If mine worked I'm sure yours will work. Keep trying I guess! :)

I forgot to mention that it did give me a little problem because I was so busy entering my information in the exchange certificate box that I didn't enter my name in the tiny box at the top of the page and I had to go back and do that to finish registering. That could possibly be the problem for you too...

About a month ago this happened to me-but I had already been on it so I knew it worked- It may have been the next day and it worked- so maybe its a disney website issue

When I first received my Exchange Certs I tried that as well. You need the actual Annual Pass to be able to log into that website. I was able to call the Passholder line and reserve some rooms. I told them I will be getting married and I had the ECs and would be turning them in for the actual passes during that particular trip. They allowed me to make reservations over the phone and said I may have to show my APs (which I didn't). When I got home and had the actual APs, the site worked.

I am not sure if this falls into the category of this thread but I was wondering when you guys recieved AP vouchers? We are knee deep in the planning process and no one has said anything to us about them. Thanks!!!

We got ours a couple weeks after we sent in our signed contract.

Were going to disneyworld in may, how soon should we exchange our AP certificate? I was just wondering I am still waiting for mines to come in the mail, i am just excited :)

You can exchange them when you get to Disney. I think that's the only place where you can do it, so it will have to be sometime when you are there.

hey there, new to the wedding threads :)

I recieved my annual pass certificates the other week. Living in the UK i don't really get a chance to chat to any of the disney reps. Do these annual passes let me into typhoon lagoon, blizzard beach, disney quest etc. or are they just standard annual passes for the 4 main parks??

I don't suppose there's a way to upgrade? I'm going to do the water parks anyway so I mite aswell......... If I can!

When I asked about upgrading I was told it would be about $350 per person to "upgrade" to the premium passes because they are in the system as $0 cost Wedding Annual Passes so the upgrade fee is the whole amount. We figured that we most likely would not be going to Disney Quest, and we might do a water park once or twice so we were better off just buying the individual admission when we wanted to go. We did get Pleasure Island annual passes that were only $55 per person since we know we will be there plenty of times :cool1: but I couldn't justify over $700 to upgrade just to go to the water parks and Disney Quest
