We are arriving at Universal on 12/22. We plan on purchasing annual passes. Are they the same price online and at the window? Which would be easier. Thanks :)

Since you are going at a relatively busy time, you might want to purchase online and then pick up the vouchers at the electronic ticket kiosk...then take them over to Guest Services for processing. It would save you having to wait in the ticket line.

We leave Friday for Orlando. My original plan was to use the two or three days we have left on our Disney Park Hoppers and just relax the rest of the time. I came over to this forum (where I rarely visit) and started thinking it might be fun to spend a few days at Universal too. DS8 and DS13 have never been.

When you factor in the parking cost and the fact that we would probably only go three days, four max, I don't want to get the seven day passes. I'm leaning toward the annual passes with three months free, but can't find any discount anywhere on them. Will full price be the best I can do?

I think it would still be a good deal as we will go back at least once, probably twice or more during the 15 months.

My only other hesitation is whether the lines will be so awful the first week of January that we don't get to do much. DS8 uses a wheelchair, but it looks like there is no expedited entrance to any of the rides for the disabled.

I'm assuming that most schools will be like ours and be out until the 7th. Is that true or do some of you go back on the 2nd or 3rd of January?

Thanks for your help.

Sheila

Sheila -

The three months free is the special right now...no discounts on top of that so it's full price. The crowds usually dive after January 2nd or 3rd so I wouldn't worry about the lines. The park goes back to regular hours on January 6th.

Getting APs will definately be a good value since you plan to return before they expire and you get to take advantage of the park discounts from day 1.
