Annual Pass query

So, after another fantastic visit to DLP, the wife and it have decided that just one visit a year really isn't enough!

We want more, so we're looking at buying the Dream passes, and nearly did whilst there, but I baulked a bit at the €400 for the pair of us!

So, what I'm wondering is if we intend on visiting DLP four times in a year, is it worth it? How many people on here do have these passes? Does the 35% discount on a room rate make it worth stayed on resort? Lastly, and most importantly, is there anyway of getting it any cheaper?

Any advise would be welcome

have a read of the annual pass sticky thread, theres loads of information in there about how to make the most out of your passes.

If you want to stay onsite all the time, you're probably best booking one of you in on a discounted package through Disney, then the other of you is added to the room for no extra charge, and you have one annual pass to use as your park ticket. You don't need a Dream AP at all if you go this route, as blockout dates don't apply if you are staying onsite.

I haven't found the AP room only discount to be worthwhile at all for at least 5 years, discounted package or staying offsite has always worked out cheaper for me, even including the initial outlay of the AP cost.

Id have to agree - we dont find discounts for AP holders on room rates to be great but you could consider just one of you both holding an AP and then just book with Disney for 1 adult and add the other person at check in time if you really want to stay onsite. Otherwise you are best to stay offsite and to be fair you could probably be in Val d'Europe as quick as the shuttle to the SF or walking it.
We love the discounts that come with the APs for shopping and meals though and this is what makes it worthwhile every time for me to renew.
