Annual Pass Purchase

Two days ago, I purchase an annual pass over the phone from Disney for a trip in April. Today, I moved forward with a small contract purchase at the Beach Club. Is it possible to cancel my Annual Pass purchase to take advantage of the DVC discout on the Annual Pass after closing?

I believe when you go to activate your AP, explain the situation to the CM - bring your receipt and DVC ID and they should be able to refund you the difference.
