Not happy, but not surprised either. From Scott Gustin this morning. WDW tickets looked at Cake Bake Shop & said… Hold my beer.

If you renewed in the early window then you paid the price that was offered at that time.So ... technically my renewal date is November 1. But I renewed in the early window time frame (early September). So is my rate locked in when I early renewed? Or will it be the rate it is on the actual renewal date?
I guess my thought process was I have not actually paid for it, I'm on the monthly plan so my payments for next year's AP do not begin until November. Hopefully it stands as a contracted price agreement. If you renewed in the early window then you paid the price that was offered at that time.
Your rate is locked as of the date you completed the actual renewal process.I guess my thought process was I have not actually paid for it, I'm on the monthly plan so my payments for next year's AP do not begin until November. Hopefully it stands as a contracted price agreement.
Yeah, as hikes go they don’t seem that bad and Oct is when this happened last year. I remember I had saved like $50 on my DGCs last year I was saving for my renewal and then bam, price hike ate my savingsNot happy, but not surprised either.
My opinion is that they can raise regular ticket prices anytime. Increase the price of a day here, a day there - if you're not following the price for a specific date or range of dates, you'd never know, would you? That's why I like to buy our tickets ASAP, once we know our dates.I wonder if ticket price increases are not far behind.
And, of course they announced single-day ticket increases today! I think they’re for 2025, though. https://www.wdwmagic.com/other/magi...025-magic-kingdom-now-199-on-select-dates.htmMy opinion is that they can raise regular ticket prices anytime. I believe that's specific to the Nov/Dec 2025 dates which were not available prior to today, but it's highly possible there have been increases in some earlier dates as well. Unless specifically watching a specific date(s), it's very hard to recognize if a ticket price increase may have occurred. And, of course they announced single-day ticket increases today! Lots of other increases today - get the pain over all at once, I guess.
Glad we let our APs expire in May. I don’t see us buying them again. Since we are out of state and non DVC incrediPass is it and it’s pushing 5k for the 3 of us.
Double check your account.I guess my thought process was I have not actually paid for it, I'm on the monthly plan so my payments for next year's AP do not begin until November. Hopefully it stands as a contracted price agreement.
