How much is an annual pass for DVC members, and can the Disney Dining Discount package be added to it, and for how much?

Thanks!

It's $335 for an adult AP, $440 for an adult PAP.

The dining plan can be added to your DVC points room reservation, it has nothing to do with the AP. It's $37.99 for adults, $10.99 for children 3 to 9. That's per night, it must be reserved for all nights and for all people in the room.

Thanks for the pricing info on the annual passes.

I was referring to the discount program (the so-called Disney Dining Experience), not the length-of-stay dining plan. Can it be added to the DVC Annual Pass?

It's not a DVC Annual Pass....it's a regular AP with a DVC discount. So everything you can do with a regular AP, you can still do. Including buying the DDE.

Thanks, "Granny."

Can I add just the length-of-stay Dining Plan to a DVC reservation which was made with purchased/rented points? Can the DVC member buy me an annual pass if I'm not a DVC member but am staying in a unit purchased with rented points?

The DVC member can not buy you an discounted annual pass. DVC discounted AP require photo ID with proof of residency to match the actual membership card.

You can add the length of stay dining plan to a rented point ressie, but it must be arranged through Member Services prior to your arrival, as it must be linked into the ressie. Member Services recommends adding it at least 48 hours in advance.

OK, I think I have it - almost!

Can I add just the dining plan to a room-only reservation (i.e., I'll be using an annual pass), or can I only purchase the dining plan if I purchase theme park tickets as well?

There is no ticket purchase requirement to add the dining plan to DVC point reservations at DVC resorts. You pay for your dining plan when you check-in at the resort. Cost (as another poster stated) is $37.99 per adult and $10.99 per child under age 10 per night of your reservation. It must be purchased for everyone on your room for the entire length of your reservation. The cost for the dining plan for reservations in 2007 has not yet been announced (assuming it will be available).

Cash reservations at non-DVC resorts require you to purchase a package, including tickets to get the dining plan.

If you have a room only reservation through Disney and not a DVC owner or member services then no you can't get the dining plan. In order to get the dining plan with a reservation through Disney you have to pay full price for your room, buy at least a one day ticket for every member in your party and add the dining plan.

If you are a DVC member or renting through one, then you can add the dining plan to your DVC room without having to purchase tickets.

Just renewed are AP though MS cost where $308 each.

MS is allowing folks to add the dining plan to 2007 ressies. For our stay in January, we requested it and although the CM was at first unsure if we would be able to for the 2007 year yet, the system took it for the current price. If they don't allow it for '07, I can't say I'd be upset....it will save my waistline some ;)
