Annual Pass or Multi Day Pass?

Hi all!

I'm hoping for a little advice.

My family and I will be going to WDW for 6 days in August and 7 (possibly 8) days in January. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to buy an annual pass. Does anyone have any advice on this or info I can use to decide what is the most cost effective option?

Do you also plan to get water parks and more option to your passes?

Do you think you will hit the parks every day or will you have down days?

Are there any Disney YES passes for the days you are going?
