Annual Pass Magnets

Just received our AP magnets today! Actually didn't know if they still sent them. They are cute - about 3" large Mickey head - looks just like the Mickey on the 'discount' card with the AP's. Much nicer than last ones we received.

When did you get your AP? We got ours on May 2, and haven't received anything yet. The first CM at Disney springs said we wouldn't be getting anything in the mail (no packet or anything). We stopped by another day to inquire how to get a magnet for our car and the CM we spoke to then, said we would be getting it in the mail. Gosh darnit, I wanna rock my AP magnet in NC!

I've never received one. Had a pass last year and renewed this year. My boyfriend just got his first annual pass and got one a few weeks after we got back. Odd.

You usually receive it a couple weeks after activation/renewal

Received mine about a week ago just after my magic band arrived. Was something unexpected and a nice surprise!

I upgraded my family's four tickets to APs on 4/20 and last week I got a mailer with two magnets inside. Then a couple of days later, I got another of the same mailer with one magnet inside. I still have not customized my passholder magic bands.

I hope they're better quality. The ones we got 2 years ago lasted all of 2 months, and we didn't do anything to them except stick them on our car.

Purchased the AP's a few months ago, but just activated them 4/25. Have been back from our trip a week. Received the passes yesterday. (also NC - but heart still in south LA)

Can't comment on them lasting on cars, just have mine on my refrigerator!!
Won't stick on front - have them on one side to make me smile!!

Not true
We got our AP's last October and we are traveling again in October this year. Those will be our AP Magic Bands and we haven't customized them yet. But we got the magnet months ago.

We've had annual passes several years in a row and have never received one. My DH wanted one so badly that we ended up ordering one from eBay! I assume Disney won't mail them outside of the US (we are Canadian)?

My local Sams Club car wash has an abundance of AP magnets, free to Anyone who wants to 'claim' them. They have a metal door they stick all lost magnets on.

I got my AP on Feb. 25. I got my magnet mid April.

it seems random. DH and I activated our APs at the same time, and a couple weeks later, I got the magnet. DH never got one. A couple months later, DS activated his AP, and his magnet came a few weeks later. Two years ago none of us ever got an AP magnet.
