Annual Pass Hotel Discount in Jan 2015

Hello. Looking for a little advice irt to purchasing an Annual Pass for myself. We are planning on going to DL Jan 1 - 7, 2015. The Hojo is booked but I really would like to stay at the PPH. As we are heading to DL in Oct 2015 for five days also I think an AP is the way to go. The questions I have are as follows:

1. Is there any way of booking the PPH for Jan 2015 using the AP discount if I'm not getting the pass until I arrive?

2. Is there an AP discount for this period and if so how much?

3. What would be the best way to book the discount? Phone the PPH direct or the AP number?

Also in order to get the discount when you book restaurants do you need an AP number or can you just show it when you get there? Thanks again for any info.

1. Yes you can book without having an AP you will just let them know when you call that you want the AP hotel rate or discount. (I have had an AP for a while now and have never had to give my AP # to them.) When you get the the hotel they will ask for your AP. If you are planning to get it later in the day they will ask that you come back and show them (At least that is what I have done and been told a couple of times.

2. There isn't a rate code for that time but it is a standard 10% discount so the prices would be. (Passholders Save 10% on Disneyland Resort Hotels) $264.85 USD Avg/Night Excl Tax

3. You would call the AP number ((714) 781-4567) or even the Disneyland Resort Reservation number. I've called (866) 411-3890

For restaurants you will not have to show your AP until you need to pay. So at Character meals it will be up front when you arrive and pay that you show them your AP and at sit down or counter it will be when you pay so after you have received your food that you will then show your AP. One thing to keep in mind is that when you are the AP holder and it has your name on it you need to be the one paying for all meals and if paying by credit/debit make sure your name matches the AP name. I only say this as I will sometime have my spouses card (even though he is with me) and my last name doesn't match his so I have to make sure to always have my card. I hope that makes since, my morning coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

The last name won't matter... It has to be the exact full name and you'll be asked to show photo i.d. too.
