DH and I have been to WDW several times, but I am planning first trip with children for next year. We are going with Grandma and triplet girls who will be 5 by then. Grandma has her heart set on DDP. Am I correct that we could buy 1annual pass and the other 5 theme park tickets this year to lock in the price, and then because of the annual pass, we could still get the dining plan?

So buy tickets in 2014, but don't activate them. Travel in 2015.

You could do that and it would work, assuming that Disney continues to offer AP packages (room + dining plan).

Another option which would work without having to purchase an AP, would be to rent DVC points and add the dining plan that way.

Thanks! I thought I had read about this somewhere, but haven't been able to find where. Now "all" I have to figure out is which dining plan and which hotel. lol
