Annual pass expires

We have annual passes that expire on Dec 29. We are scheduled to stay until Jan 2. In order to access FP + do I have to renew them prior to 60 days out? Also- can I use the annual pass on Dec 29 if it sets to expire that day?

I am not sure if I should actually renew or purchase a two day park hopper. Our next trip is scheduled in July but not sure when we will be back after that.....

Any advice on how I should do this? Thanks!

You won't be able to select FP+ for the days you do not have a valid ticket linked to your MDE account. So if you want to select for all the days of your stay at the 60 day mark, you'll need both an on-site reservation and a valid ticket linked to your account. The length of the reservation doesn't matter (so I've been told), but you absolutely have to have a valid ticket entitlement linked for each day you want to make FP+ reservations.

Can't advise what you should do about a ticket for the last days of your stay - it depends on your future plans as well as your plans for this trip. We're in the same situation and have elected to spend the last day doing non-park activities. (But I'm not sure that decision will stick, LOL)

If you decide to go with something other than renewing your annual, be sure you stop at Guest Relations before entering a park when you arrive to make sure your MB/ticket is set up to take park admission from your AP before it takes one from your MYW ticket.

We have similar problem for our oct/nov trip. Will be renewing AP this weekend. Also, we are back again over new years.
