Annual pass expiration

Can anyone tell me at what point annual passes expire please? I believe that it is at the end of the date printed on the ticket, so basically at 11.59pm or is it the night previous?

Our tickets say, expires 11/02/12 (2 Nov). Am I right in thinking we can use them on the 2nd?
