Annual Pass Discount?

How much is the discount for DVC members I can't find anywhere telling me how much it is? Also we are thinking about getting one since we go every other year just to be able to get the extra discounts. We have a large group going 7 adults and 4 kids so is there a limit on how many can be in your party and still recieve the discount at restaurants?

The DVC AP is $389 plus tax for Adults. This is $100 off the price of a regular AP. With a party that large, you may want to consider getting a Tables in Wonderland (TiW) card. The TiW card will get you a 20% discount on food and alcohol at almost all table service restaurants and the counter service at resorts that don't have a table service restaurant. The TiW card is available to Annual Passholders for $75 an Non-annual passholder FL residents for $100. The TiW discount is good for the card holder plus up to 9 more on the same check.

I believe there is no limit. Like the above poster stated you may be better off with the other card.

Who is eligible to receive the Annual Pass discount?
Disney Vacation Club Members receive a discount on the Pass for themselves and their immediate family residing in the same household only. At the time of purchase or redemption, your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card must be provided and ALL ADULTS must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household.



Who is defined as "immediate family"?
"Immediate family" is defined by Walt Disney World Resort for discount purposes as noted below: Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner, Parent/Step Parent, Mother-In-Law/Father-In-Law, Child/Step Child, Brother/Stepbrother, Sister/Stepsister, Brother-In-Law/Sister-In-Law, Grandparent, and Grandchild.


Can I use my discount to buy a Pass for someone other than myself or immediate family residing in the same household?
No. This discount is exclusive for Members and may not be transferred. This perk may be revoked in the event of abuse.

Limit of 8 purchases per household.

Ya thats not a problem. The trip is a family trip with my girlfriend, my parents, sister, brother in-law, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. On top of that my parents and I each are DVC members at the Boardwalk and my sis/bro in-law are DVC members at Saratoga Springs. Thanks for that info though I thought.

Were thinking about getting one annual pass for the discounts were going for a 10 night split stay at SS(4 nights)/Boardwalk(6 night). Were trying to figure out if its worth it since we go every other year. Were going to add it up and see if its worth it with the discounts we would recieve.

Yes, you have to have an Annual Pass or be a Florida Resident. The price is $75 for those that have an AP and $100 for FL Residents that don't have an AP.

The AP discounts at restaurants are fairly limited.....mostly for lunch. Last I looked the DVC discounts were similar so unless you get an AP and TiW, you may not save much.

MY WIFE AND I GO EVERY YEAR. WE USED TO GET 10 DAY HOPPER PASS WITH NO EXPIRY. THAT WAS 950 DOLLARS. WE WERE THERE IN DEC. WE WILL HAVE ANOTHER TRIP IN MAR SEPT AND DEC. OUR PASS STARTED DEC 7. SO WE WILL BOOK OUR DEC TRIP STARTING BEFORE THE 7th. It WAS UNDER 800 DOLLARS FOR THE 2 PASSES AND WE WILL USE IT foR MORE THAN 10 DAYS IN THAT PERIOD. PLUS WHEN WE WERE THERE IN DEC WE GOT DISCOUNTS ON MERCHANDISE WE BOUGHT. IM A PIN COLLECTER SO NOW I CAN GET BOTH DVC PINS AND AP PINS. SORRY I CANT REMEMBER IF IT WAS 10 OR 20% OFF MERCHANDISE BUT IT ADDS UP AND THAT MAKES THE PRICE OF THE AP EVEN LOWER THAN HOPPER NO EXPIRY

dvc deernut, that's a great point. You can now use your AP to get 20% off most merchandise at almost any Disney owned store.

Not sure about the stores in WS. Does anyone know?

I'm so used to only getting the discount at World of Disney and a few other stores. Have to retrain my mind!
