My daughter, age 24, didn't go on our last 2 trips due to scheduling so I didn't renew her pass. She is now planning a trip for May and I wanted to get her an annual pass with the DVC discount. When I called, I was told that I would have to be there when she turns in her voucher to prove I am a member and she lives in our household. Has anyone here figured out a way around this problem. It's not in the cards for the rest of us to be there when she is going. Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure, but I think as long as she can find a way to prove that your address and hers are the same on an ID basis, she should be okay. Perhaps a photo copy of your ID along with your member card and her ID showing that it is the same address. I'd call and ask if that was good enough.

Had a similar issue when my oldest went with a friend. I sent a copy of my drivers license, DVC Membership card, and a hand written note stating that she was my daughter, dvc member and her drivers license showed the same address as myself. They let her get her discounted ticket.

I sent copies of the front and backs of the cards, in color, and also put my cell phone number, just incase they had to call me... They did call, but only to verify that she was also allowed to charge that amount on my credit card! :)

Good Luck!
