ok any advice and opinions appreciated...I am debating between the Power Pass and the Preferred pass. I am a FL resident so don't really need the hotel discount and we really wouldn't use the food discounts all that much. (We have Dis annual passes and they never seem to be valid wherever we are eating) so I have been comparing and can't seem to justify going with the higher one. Outside of the parking am I missing anything? with the power pass I would have FULL access to both parks correct? Harry Potter ect???? They do have some blackout dates but I would never go to the parks during the busy times anyway. Am I missing something here? :confused3

No...you aren't missing anything. You will have full access to both parks except on blackout dates. So...if you don't care about the discounts on food, hotel rooms, additional tickets or merchandise go with the Power Pass. The Power Pass is basically for park admission only.

Remember, if the blackout dates are not a problem, you may still want to get one preferred pass for the free parking.

This is a GREAT idea! Have the main driver (or the person that will be in the drivers seat the most when going to the parks) get the preferred pass just for this option. Not to mention, you really could get all the food discounts and stuff with this ONE ticket as well. When you purchase food, they only need to see ONE AP, so just have the person buying the food use the preferred pass. It is a great way to save a little money. There is really no sense in having everybody get preferred if blackout dates are not going to be an issue. Of course, if you get the preferred pass you could make everyone jealous by going to the park alone on a blackout day :rolleyes1
