I checked out AP prices today 3-1-04.
If you purchase AP's at WDW they cost $393 for an adult (10 and older)
If you order vouchers through WDW or a Disney Store an adult AP costs $369 - a $24 savings (compared to buying at WDW)
and....
For 10 days it would cost one person $36.90 to enter WDW.
For 14 days it would cost one person $26.36 to enter WDW.
That is less than a Great Adventure ticket.
So for our family, staying at least 10 days - maybe 14 (DS & DD wish) That is a $86 savings.
Plus we would earn $14 in Disney $$'s using our Bank One Disney Visa.
Enough for 4 Mickey ice creams.
And if we can swing it again the next year - more savings.
From history AP tickets increase in price during the Fall Season.
So buying the AP voucher in advance - even 3 or 4 years adhead
of time- can save even more money by avoiding price increases.
Keep the vouchers and receipt in a safe place.
Bring both to WDW (make a copy of the receipt).
Keep the receipt in the closet safe in the resort room.
Exchange the vouchers for AP tickets when you arrive at WDW.
You do not need your receipt - just the vouchers.
* * * IF you loose your AP ticket - get your receipt out of the
closet safe - go to a WDW ticket window and get a new
AP ticket (no extra days - but it will be replaced).
Return the receipt back to the closet safe. * * *
The above AP is for the 4 WDW Parks only. There is a PAP - which
includes the water parks, but we stick to the WDW resort pool.
The PAP cost more - but bought in advance would still be a savings.
