We're leaving for WDW early this Wednesday, 11/12/03. We have had annual passes for a number of years but let our last one expire as we were unable to get down to WDW in a timely fashion. My question is the $7.00 parking fee. We won't have a valid annual pass with us, just expired ones, when we go to the Magic Kingdom parking lot so we'll have to pay the $7.00 fee. Several years ago when we were renewing an annual pass and/or buying a new one they refunded us the $5.00 or $6.00 parking fee when we purchased the annual pass when we got to guest relations. Do they still do this? If not has anyone got any ideas as to how to avoid the parking fee before or at the time we purchase our annual passes? Thanks in advance.

you can try to go to one of the hotels and park there, grand floridian, contemporary and at the gate say that you are going for the character breakfast hop on monorail or a bus to one of the other parks, but perfect for magic kingdom
usually works
good luck

I believe they still reimburse you because they asked me about it when I purchased ours in October. However, we went to MGM about 5:00pm and there was no one at the toll booths so we did not pay parking. I believe you just have to present your receipt, so make sure you bring it with you after you park. A quick call to 407-WDW-info would probably confirm the answer.
