Hi

I think I recall hearing something, somewhere about paying a certain amount of money to our premium WDW annual pass to also have it include Disneyland... Does anyone know how much that is? or if that is even correct?

If that is the case, would we get the AP discount and do we upgrade through WDW or DL or DVC (that's where we got the AP's)

Thanks

Denise

It's called the premier pass .... We upgraded our DL premium passes for an additional $350 (approximate). I think you can upgrade the at the park tickrt booths (that's where we did ours)

You would be upgrading to the premier AP. Your expiration date would remain the same as your current WDW AP. You would pay the difference between what you paid for your WDW AP and the current price of the premier AP. You will have to "do the math" to see if it worth it for you to upgrade to the Premier or if you are better off just buying park passes for your trip.

Thanks... Math not my strongest forty... thats why I became a social worker:rotfl2:

But will see what I can find out.

I gather the premier AP at DL is the same as the Premier plan with Water park options at WDW?

Yes.

Premium AP at DLR includes 365-days of admission to DL and DCA (no block-out days).

But, since you purchased your WDW APs at a discount (through DVC, I think you get $20 off an AP?), you would definitely need to calculate whether it's worth it to upgrade your AP.

If there are multiple people in your party, it might be worthwhile to upgrade one of the APs so you can get discounts (15% off most dining; 20% off most merchandise).

The math is pretty simple

The Premier AP is $749 - what you paid for your WDW AP ($419) WDW Premium AP ($529) = Cost to upgrade ($220 - $330)

Cost of Park Hopper for # of days you are going to Disneyland. ($214/3day - $251/6day)

So as you can see if you purchased the Premium WDW AP upgrading would make sense, a regular AP it won't.

If you have the Premium WDW AP, then yes it'll make sense to upgrade even though you got it at the DVC discount.
