I was told by the MK center selling them that paper is cheaper and hold the magnetic coding better. I'm not sure paper holds coding better but $1000 for three passes and they are worrying about making the passes cheaper???
I had thought that an annual pass holds some level of durability but evidently not.
Mine are now pressed in a book waiting for april. I don't want to bend them and wreck the coding.
That may be, but they also do not have the same information on them, and don't use the same kind of entry machine.I Love DVC said:Hmmmmm......the DL AP plastic material is very strong. We keep them by credit cards, etc., and none of ours have ever been de-magnetized.

Disney REALLY needs to work on thier technology. If your "delicate" room key is near a cell phone, another credit card or just about anything it becomes "unreadable" Now, I have taken up residence at a Marriott and have had the SAME room key for over a month. I just throw it in my purse where it comes into contact with the cell phone, a wallet FULL of credit cards and who knows what. It just keeps working... try that with your Disney Room card..... If Disney put your AP on that delicate card I would probably have to replace the dang thing every visit!

then, should you bring towells or do they provide them? If you need to bring them do you just put them on some chair while you are in the pools?
