Annual pass and free parking

Can I use the annual pass voucher to get parking, and then exchange it for the annual pass once I get into the park?

Can I use a child's annual pass (or voucher) to get the free parking?

I don't know why they wouldn't. The voucher proves that you've paid for an AP.

Disney's official answer is no. The perks associated with using the pass itself (shopping discounts, dining discounts, free parking, etc) extend only to active AP/PAP's. Just as you can't go into World of Disney and show the your voucher and get your 10% discount, you can't park for free with it.

But having said that, most parking CM's don't even look at what you show them and will waive you right through. In the event you get one that does things by the book, pay the $7 parking fee and bring the receipt to Guest Relations when you exchange your voucher. They will refund your $7 there.

Yes you can use a child's pass (see above answer re: voucher). Free parking is a perk for all AP holders.

In theory no. WDW can't tell you are actually going to turn the voucher into an AP that day, and you don't get AP free parking except during the lifetime of an AP.

Kind of a catch-22 IMO.

You get free parking with an AP but you have to pay to park before getting into the park to exchange your voucher for the AP.

We have AP's this year and will see what happens.

Is there any other place besides inside the parks that you can exchange the voucher for the AP?

I believe there is a guest service place in Downtown Disney. In fact I think there might even be two!

Does anyone else know where in DD they are?

The Guest Relations offices at DTD are in the Marketplace next to Once Upon A Toy and in West Side just down past the AMC Theater.
