Can I do this?

1. make a room only ressie add dining at anytime
2. at some point before vacation order two AP's

Here is my dilemma. I got myself out to CC debit and now pay for everything in cash. I would like to make at least two trips in 2011, so by the time May 2011 rolls around I could have it at least the first trip pd off and two annunal passes. But If I do a pkg it has to be pd within 45 day arrival.

If anybody has any other ideas please let me know.

You can only add the dining if you book an AP package. If not, you would have to add tickets and the DDP. And if you book an AP package, as you said, it has to be paid within 45 days of arrival. Not sure if that answered your question or not.

Can do a AP pkg (room and dining) have it pd within 45 day arrival, then when I get to Disney pay for two AP's?

Yes, that you can do. You don't need the AP until you arrive. If you can't get it before you check-in, they *should* let you bring it back to the desk later that day or next day.
