They say that to get the dining plan (not free dining) i have to buy a one :teacher: day park addmision can it be for disneyquest? :confused3
:dance3:

no it has to be a regular park ticket that is $71.36 to get the dining plan and everyone in your package has to have the same ticket.

Right, in order to have the dining plan you have to have a packge and that requires park admission. The least you can buy is a one day MYW ticket for everyone in the reservation. This is theme park admission not water park or Disney quest. The good thing is that you can save the one day MYW ticket for a future trip if you all have AP's. If you are the only one with an AP you should still just get a one day MYW for the entire party and then upgrade the tickets for those who do need more days after arrival. Everyone has to have the same package.

Good luck,
TJ

So what if I am an AP holder and I am getting a room only ressie with the AP discount. But my wife and daughter are not AP holders and we will be buying a 10 day pass and another 2 day pass for each of them (or something like that). Are we eligable for the dining package? I have spoken to multiple people at Disney Travel at first they let me book it; then I called back for something and the CM I talked to said they had to remove it because I wasn't eligable. Then I call to talk to a supervisor and they said that she thought it was possible... somehow, but couldn't help me at the moment (couldn't believe she said that) and I haven't called back because I have been away with work. . So what do you think?

You cannot get the dining plan with a room booked with an AP discount. The dining plan is only available as part of a package that includes room and theme park admission (1 day minimum).

The only room discount you can use is AAA and still get the dining plan.

As far as the AP goes, you can buy the 1 day pass for the AP holder, and not use it. It doesn't expire, so the next time you buy ticket media, you can just upgrade that one day pass.

Just don't put it into a turnstile! Then it will be 'used'.

Then you're not eligible for, and cannot get/purchase/obtain-free-if-that-deal-comes-up-again, the Magic Your Way Dining Plan.
In order to be on the DDP, the reservation must meet all the following conditions:
- You must purchase a package which means room AND ticket
- Everyone on your reservation must purchase the SAME ticket (e.g. not one AP, one ten-day hopper and one two-day base pass, although upgrades can be purchased at/after check-in, and those can be customized to each Guest's plans)
- Everyone on your reservation must participate in/purchase the DDP for the same number of nights as your reservation.

Have you considered the Disney Dining Experience card, instead? For an upfront cost of, I think, $85, you then get 20% off your entire bill at most of the table service restaurant, at the Value food courts and possibly at some other locations. It's good for a year.
