In looking at park ticket prices, it seems that it's much less expensive to buy an annual power pass than to buy a 7 day ticket. Am I missing something?
Also, if I buy the power pass now, does the 1 year start on the date of first use, or when I purchase it?
TIA for your help!!

Preferred annual pass renewals are $140. So if you are planning on going regularly, it is still the way to go.

Good to know. I will probably go that route, since we do go every year. Do you get upgrades at the hotels, if available, with this pass, or do you need the premiere?

No upgrades with the pass but if you join the youfirst loyalty program, and stay often enough, you can earn nice upgrades.

We've stayed there every year for about 6-7 years and we never get credit, even though we are members of youfirst. They say it's because we get a discount, usually the stay more save more, because we always stay a week. If we book a room with APH rate, will we get points? If so, maybe that's the way to go.

Yes, APH rate will get you credits.
