We are going for 19 days and will be staying on site for 7 of those days, so will it be worth just getting one for the discounts?

Also does anyone have one of the 10% discount cards that they would be willing to send me for the annual passes.

thanks
Angie

If you are going to be staying offsite and driving in to the parks then it will save you $12 a day parking.

You only need one person to have an annual pass so it might be a good option.

Are you planning on going back within the next 12 months? They might be the deal breaker as it could then cover 2 trips.

Hopefully someone who has more knowledge of AP's can come along and give you a bit more. :goodvibes

We bought 4 back in December because we knew we would be back in July, it worked out cheaper than buying the 14 Ultimate tickets. You just need to do your sums with the price of AP against the tickets you intend to buy, I just go with whatever works out cheapest just on this level.

When you're doing your sums make sure you try to factor in how much you will save on parking, whether you intend shopping in World of Disney as you can get 5% off there, and also if you intend eating at any of the participating restaraunts.
If you do decide to go for the AP I would also consider going for the Tables in Wonderland card as well. This gives you 20% off a much larger selection of restaraunts (which will pretty much pay for your tip each meal) and free valet parking at the resorts. For a one time cost it paid for itself after just 1 meal.

we got 4 last year for our 12 nights at WDW
so this year it feels like we are getting our tickets free as we are going back with in the 12 months
what I like about the AP is that you can pop into any park for a few hours and not feel like you are wasting a full day on your park tickets

Don't know what 10% discont card you are asking for

The annual pass not only saves you on parking - but you get other discounts.

For example - you can play on Disney's crazy golf for half price (quite a big saving - we played on both courses), also you get 10% off purchases at the big WDW shop at DTD and at some of the other places too.

We also hired a boat for 30 minutes and I think got 15% off that too - you will have to see if for your family you will use all these other things and if it will work in your favour.

I am staying at WDW for 9 nights in October and I will probably get an annual pass. We are DVC members so I get the DVC discount (about $100). I am just going to get the standard annual pass (without the water parks) and even at $1.5 to the Pound, I will break even if I compare this with the cost of a 7 day Premium Park Hopper. I rarely use the water park fun and more option anyway. The added bonus is that we will spend two or three nights at WDW when we get back from our Westbound Transatlantic Cruise and the annual pass will still be valid then. So this will really work for me.

I pm'd you about the 10% discount card, but you need to be at WDW before July 31st to use it. By your ticker, I am thinking you may not make that deadline.
