Would anyone happen to know if you can have your dues billed monthly to your AMEX card? We love the membership reward points....

No. To pay with a credit card, I believe you must pay in a lump sum. Monthly payment is only available by a direct debit from a bank account.

Which credit cards do they accept? What surcharge do they apply for using a credit card?

I have only paid on a monthly basis, but my understanding is that they at least accept Visa and Mastercard (they used to accept Amex, but not sure they do any more). I don't believe there is a surcharge (the dues are in effect being prepaid as compared with the monthly plan, so they are getting the use of the money which more than makes up for the cost of taking the card).

Each January we charge our dues to our Alaska Airlines Visa card. It is nice to know there is some sort of extra benefit and eventually we'll have another free airline ticket.
